1) LIFE
We commemorated a remarkable apostle, Thomas, one of the Twelve. We remembered how he met the resurrected Savior and how he was strengthened in faith.
2) VIDEO
We watched Sister Vassa’s program about St. Thomas.
3) TEACHING
We’ve listened to the retelling of a small topic about Bible and read the first part of the text about Church history. We’ve practiced in making questions and answers, got the hand outs with lots of question words and other ways to ask or give opinions.
BASIC VOCABULARY: Apostles, disciples, salvation, spread, worship, Mysteries, Patriarchates, doctrine, Apostolic tradition, sacraments, constitute, derive, Sacred Tradition, interpret, Gospel, transmit, dispel, doubt, blessing, come to believe, roadblocks to faith (indifference, imagined self-sufficiency, prejudice, defiance, fear).
