Are you ready for the Journey to the Feast of Easter through the Great Lent?

Students of English-speaking club at the missionary center «Atrium» meet every Wednesday to learn something new about the Orthodox faith and practice English together. We´ve already started to talk about the Mystery of Baptism and the Feast of the Meeting of the Lord in the Temple. The chant that we hear in Vespers is related to the words of righteous Simeon who met the Lord in the Temple:
«Lord, now lettest Thou Thy servant depart in peace,
According to Thy word, for mine eyes have seen Thy salvation,
Which Thou hast prepared before the face of all peoples:
A light to enlighten the gentiles, and the glory of Thy people Israel»
